  The School of Animation MUIT Noida hosted a workshop on "Communication through Colors" on August 27, 2022. Dr. Preeti Yadav, an associate professor in the schools of graphic communication and visual art at the World University of Design, spoke at the event. Mr. Dinesh Pathak , Director of Planning & Implementation, welcomed the guest. Also present were faculty members from MUIT Noida Campus, students, Mr. Bhanu Pratap Maharatha, (Dean of the School of Animation), and Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta , (Dy.Dean of the School of Journalism & Mass Communication ). Dr. Preeti went into great detail during the workshop about the significance of colour in everyday life as well as in the fields of visual communication and design. She also discussed how colours are a representation of each person and their culture, area, and environment.   The art of Animation started with the release of “Fantasmagorie” in year 1908 by Emile Cohl, an age-old creative adventure. It was the first  2D Animation  released in the entire world. The journey continues with  Walt Disney  who marked this industry with its classic short “Steamboat Willie”; followed by its famous animated feature “Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs” in year 1937 and that journey has continued till date giving us some of the best animated films.   ANIMATION  however has evolved a lot from its early days.
