Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World Environmental Day

Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida organized a Poster Making Competition for the students on the occasion of World Environmental Day.

This competition was held on 4 June 2022.The Theme for the competition was ‘Sustainable Development’. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. Students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters. Students of different courses participated in the competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful posters which gave the message of saving our environment and providing a greener environment to our future generations.

It was a great opportunity to watch these bright minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper. The activity kept the student engaged and gave them a platform to explore their creativity and to showcase their skills.

Ms. Himanshi Mittal (BBA LLB II Semester) bagged the first position followed by Mr. Vaibhav Sharma (Data Science IV Semester) bagged the second position  and the third position was secured by Ms. Supriya (BA LLB II Semester).

Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta (Dean, School of Journalism and Mass Communication) and Ms. Trapty Aggarwal (Dean, School of Data Science) were guest of honour. Prize distribution was done by our Chief Guest Prof. Ajay Kumar (Dean Academics). Dr. KB Asthana (Dean MLS), Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra ( Deputy Dean), Dr. Trapti Varshney (Assistant Professor), Dr. Ritu Meena (Assistant Professor), Ms. Shritu Anand (Assistant Professor) and other faculty members were also present during the event.

Essay Writing Competition on 12th August 2022

Maharishi Law School is organizing an ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION on 12th AUGUST, 2022 on the given topic: * ENVISIONING INDIA @2050 (In English) * 2050 में सपनों का भारत (In Hindi) The following rules must be followed by the participants: * Essay should be in original, it should not be copied from anywhere. * Must be in docx/pdf format only and words limit 1500 words only. * All entries will be checked for plagiarism. It must be below 15% . * Language for the essay may either be in English or Hindi. * Essay should be of a single author. Co-authorship is not allowed. * There will be award for winner and runner up. * Entry must be sent through email to shritu.anand@muit.in by 12th Aug, 2022, 5 P.M. * Winner shall get cash award of Rs. 1000/- and for Runner up 800/- with certificate. * Participation Certificate shall be given to all participants.

Water Security for Sustainable Development and Equity 2022

President of India , Smt. Droupadi Murmu inaugurated the 7th India Water Week on 1st Nov 2022 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. The theme for IWW is “Water Security for Sustainable Development and Equity”. The event was graced by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, MYogiAdityanath , Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Ministers of State for Jal Shakti, Prahlad Singh Patel and Bishweswar Tudu. Students of Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida also got the opportunity to mark their presence at IWW 2022. Denmark, Singapore and Finland are the partner countries for India Water Week.

E & ICT Academy along with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur 'Better Spoken English V2'

E & ICT Academy along with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur had conducted an online course “Better Spoken English V2” for the students of Maharishi University of Information Technology . School of Data Science had congratulated the students, who have successfully completed the course, by organizing Certificate Distribution Ceremony. The certificates were given to all the achievers through Hon’ble Chancellor, MUIT on 1st Oct 2022 at Noida campus. The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Director General, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Hon’ble Dean Academics of the University along with faculty members and students.
