Poster Making Competition on the occasion of World Environmental Day

Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida organized a Poster Making Competition for the students on the occasion of World Environmental Day.


This competition was held on 4 June 2022.The Theme for the competition was ‘Sustainable Development’. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. Students displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters. Students of different courses participated in the competition with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made beautiful posters which gave the message of saving our environment and providing a greener environment to our future generations.

It was a great opportunity to watch these bright minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper. The activity kept the student engaged and gave them a platform to explore their creativity and to showcase their skills.



Ms. Himanshi Mittal (BBA LLB II Semester) bagged the first position followed by Mr. Vaibhav Sharma (Data Science IV Semester) bagged the second position and the third position was secured by Ms. Supriya (BA LLB II Semester).



Dr. Shambhoo Sharan Gupta (Dean, School of Journalism and Mass Communication) and Ms. Trapty Aggarwal (Dean, School of Data Science) were guest of honour. Prize distribution was done by our Chief Guest Prof. Ajay Kumar (Dean Academics). Dr. KB Asthana (Dean MLS), Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra ( Deputy Dean), Dr. Trapti Varshney (Assistant Professor), Dr. Ritu Meena (Assistant Professor), Ms. Shritu Anand (Assistant Professor) and other faculty members were also present during the event.
