Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) in collaboration with the Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India is organizing an IPR Awareness Program under the National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM).
A workshop was organized by Maharishi Law School , on 21st May, 2022. The workshop was about accessing Manupatra, in a right and effective manner. Manupatra is the largest online database for legal research which covers all the Indian case laws from Supreme Court, All High Courts, and various tribunals. The workshop was taken up by Sh. K.K. Pankaj, the speaker who is Zonal Head, North for Manupatra . Inc Solutions. He told the intricate details as to how to access Manupatra, search for judgments’, access of legal dictionary and updated the students with a lot more technicalities and features that would make the legal research a lot more comprehensive and exhaustive. Law students from all the semesters attended this workshop. The workshop was organized by Dr. KB Asthana (Dean, MLS) Dr. Annu Bahl Mehra (Deputy Dean), with presence of other faculty members of MLS, Dr. Trapty Varshney, Dr. Ritu Singh Meena, and Ms. Prabha Tripathi.
