National Seminar Organized in Maharishi University

 Maharishi University of Information Technology organized a One-day National seminar on National Education Policy in Secondary and Higher Education System. The main objective of the seminar was to create awareness about the National Education Policy 2020 amongst teachers, students, officials, and other stakeholders in the secondary as well as higher education system.


The Seminar commenced with the worship of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ji. With his blessing the event proceeded with the welcome and introduction of speakers. There was a variety of participants which comprised of students of different schools and colleges along with Professors of different Colleges in NCR. A brief of Maharishi University was delivered along with the key features on the National Education Policy.



One of the keynote speakers mentioned that the process of making this policy was based on democratic values of our Nation and this is the People’s Education policy. It talked about inclusion in a broader sense and constructively addressed our national needs. The speakers also tried to locate and correlate it historically with different educational and institutional development in the field of education in India. They also emphasized on filling up the gap between education system and society by recognizing and associating with different skill-based practices which would further enrich and strengthen the Indian tradition. At the same time, they also emphasized that the importance of regional languages would strengthen folk traditions and culture.
