World Pharmacist Day was celebrated today at the Lucknow Campus of Maharishi University of Information Technology with great zeal, on the theme ‘Pharmacy: Always trusted for your Health’. The event was put together by Maharishi school of Pharmaceutical Sciences. To mark this day, blood donation camp and poster competition was organized which were very well participated.  Dr. Ch. V. Rao (Sr. Principal Scientist, CSIR- NBRI, Lucknow) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with SGPGI, Lucknow, coordinated by Dr. Bharat Singh and his team. Over 30 units blood was donated by faculty, staff and students of MUIT. The poster competition received more than 70 entries from students of different schools of MUIT, Lucknow campus which were judged by the Deans of all Schools. The certificates were given away to all blood donators and to three best entries of poster competition.
